Dreamcatcher Bed and Breakfast
"We were really able to relax knowing that our snowmobiles were safe and sound
on our trailer in your yard" -- Thomas and Christina Bonnewell

the town of PalisadeLocated on the beautiful Colorado River, just off I70 near the western Colorado town of Grand Junction, the town of Palisade emerges at the end of the Debeque Canyon. With 78% sunshine and a growing season of 182 days this area is perfect for orchards and is dubbed the “Peach Capital.” Dreamcatcher Bed and Breakfast is located 4 minutes from Palisade and overlooks the valley and has a beautiful view of Mt. Garfield and other surrounding mesa cliffs. The orchards and fields will make you feel like you are in the country, but you are actually in close proximity to restaurants, services and shopping. You are also near great outdoor adventures. Truly something for everyone!

Built in the twenties by an architect this home features many interesting rooms. From the alcoves in the dormered Colorado Room to the bent copper railing in the spiral staircase in the Mesa View Room to the wooden ceiling in the Knotty Pine Room and the observatory in the Evening Star Suite, there are surprises around every corner. The castle-type observatories make this house perfect for sunsets, full moon rises, and stargazing. The lights of Palisade twinkle in the valley and if you are quiet you can hear the soft whistle of the train as it chugs through the canyon. the colorado riverOn our 1.5 acre of land we have a small orchard and a vegetable garden that you can enjoy by sitting on strategically placed benches.

Your hosts, Bob and Julie Commons are 4th generation Colorado natives. They met and grew up on the Front Range and then married and moved to the high cold mountains for 25 years. Julie worked as a librarian and Bob as a plow operator and low-boy driver. They started dreaming about living in the beautiful, warm area known as the Western Slope. Their goal is to provide guests with the best possible service, attention to detail, and providing you with a simple, hassle-free and comfortable lodging during your stay.
And be sure to check out the many amenities available at dreamcatcher.
